A few years ago I had the opportunity to see James Victore speak at the Design Thinkers Conference in Toronto. I was immediately impressed and inspired by his designs and illustrations. When James speaks, his raw and sarcastic personality immediately smacks you in the face. There is no no glitz, no glamor – just a real, uncensored, anti-establishment air about him. You know – the guy who doesn’t take art too seriously but does? There is no ’snot-factor’ here with James and I guess that is why I am drawn time and time again to his work for inspiration. I still find myself in awe and visit his website quite often. If you’re not familiar with his work it is a MUST see for graphic designers or fine artists who have an appreciation for the dark side of art. Take a look at more of his work here.
