Thanks to everyone who attended my official opening night gala at the Art’s Project. I was completely blown away at the positive responses to my artwork. Multiplicity - The Art & Design of Jennifer McCormick, Official opening: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009

Hi everyone. Well I must say yesterday was set-up day for the show and I am very happy with the layout of the exhibition (thanks to some of my wonderful and creative coworkers). I hope to see you tomorrow at the spectacular opening night gala Wed, Sept 2, 2009 between 6:00pm – 9:00pm. It will certainly be a fun-filled evening with musical entertainment by London’s multi-talented actress/singer Kathy Quayle who will be performing several a cappella performances live in front of your eyes. I recently found out about Gwyneth Paltrow’s new food and lifestyle website GOOP from her visit to the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. I love it and visit often. Lot’s of recipes especially vegan recipes. I am quite fond of the website design – it’s so functional, clean and fresh. I want badly to see her post a cooking video with her husband Chris Martin from Coldplay – but I don’t think that’s going to happen!

So I happened to watch her latest YouTube video Quick Roast Chicken and Potatoes when low and behold she’s got the exact Peugeot salt and pepper grinders as me! I feel so connected to Gwyenth through our salt and pepper grinders! Check out a snapshot of the video below.

LONDON, Ontario, July 23, 2009 – Strong impressions unite the contrasting works of London artist Jennifer McCormick. Her acrylic paintings on wood, canvas and recycled materials often suggest opposing forces uniting. Her works vary in texture, mood and genre, from abstract to graphic design infused with traditional art techniques. Pieces are often paired to complement and contrast with each other.

The ARTS Project invites Londoners to a free opening night gala on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 203 Dundas St.
